October half-term: 26 Oct - 2 Nov inclusive, Mon-Sat, 10am - 4pm
Winter closure: 1  December 2024 - 5 January 2025 inclusive

Entrance fees     Free entry to those aged 21 years and under, and NE28 residents. Entrance fees for adults apply.

We are now taking bookings for school workshops for the autumn term onwards. 

Areas open to the public: the Roman Gallery, Reception and Shop on the ground floor; the Viewing Tower on Level 9; the exhibition space on Level 2; and the Fort site.
