Due to major roadworks on Buddle Street, we would advise that you allow extra time if driving to Segedunum.
Areas open to the public: Reception and Shop on the ground floor; the Roman Gallery on Level 1; the Viewing Tower on Level 9; the exhibition space on Level 2; and the Fort site.

Make your visit a great value day out by travelling to Segedunum by Metro - nearest station is Wallsend. Up to three children aged 11 and under can travel for free on the Metro with a fare-paying adult.
