We are now taking bookings for school workshops for the autumn term onwards.
The Roman Gallery is currently closed to visitors. The Shop, Reception, Gallery 3, Viewing Tower, and all outdoor areas remain open. Please note that the phones are not working. We're offering free entry to all until further notice. Whilst the repair work to the roof is well underway, the museum is still subject to sudden closure after heavy rainfall. Please bear with us during these next few weeks.

Make your visit a great value day out by travelling to Segedunum by Metro - nearest station is Wallsend. Up to three children aged 11 and under can travel for free on the Metro with a fare-paying adult.
