About the activity
Enjoy some nature-based activities during the Easter holidays.
The Romans loved to grow herbs to put into their meals to make them taste better. Have a go at planting your own Roman herbs to take away - how well will yours grow?
Can you help us find and record as many species of plants, animals and fungi that live on the Segedunum site, as part of The Natural History Society of Northumbria’s (NHSN) National Lottery Funded ‘Gosforth Wild Web’ project? Wallsend falls within the research area of the project and your discoveries will help us to understand the biodiversity of the area.
We'd love to see your adventures whilst visiting us. Share your photos on FB and Twitter and tag us in.
Age suitability: 7-11 years and their families
