School visits

Segedunum Roman Fort and Museum is open to the public and the Learning team is here to answer your queries and work with schools around visits, even if we can't offer all of our usual programme in the museum this coming autumn term.

In the meantime, we're creating a blend of virtual experiences and resources so you and your pupils can still experience our wonderful collections and enjoy our high-quality school programmes from the classroom. We'll be testing and exploring these ways of working over the coming months, so if you'd like to get involved please get in touch by email, and do take a look at our online resources for homeworking and school support which are being added to regularly and check our social media channels to keep up to date.

All individual and small group visits are pre bookable online but for groups of 10+ please contact the museum in advance to book your visit.
